As soon as rainy season arrives some or the other from family gets sick, and this is solely because of sudden drop in temprature, this makes our immunity weak and people are prone to diseases these days.
One of the major setback of rain is the outcome of waterborne diseases. Water bodies get contaminated easily these days, thus giving rise to typhoid, flu, and viral fever.
But, when their is a will, there is a way, Ayurveda never disappoints us, from ancient years, herbs were only means to combat such diseases. So today also let us know how to combat weather change with Ayurveda.
According to ayurveda, in this season Vata dosha aggravates so people are more prone to diseases these days. People are advised to take light food which is easy to digest, which will help good digestion and avoid from digestive problems.

Tulsi
We all know Tulsi, and also know that it helps to relief from cough and cold. But how does it actually works!! Tulsi has many phytochemical which actually helps body to boost immunity and prevent microbial infections, since tulsi has good antimicrobial effect.
Drinking tulsi tea can be a very good option to fight cough and cold.
Ginger
Ginger is one of the most commonly used herb in daily chores. It is one who has natural healing properties , anti-inflammatory actions and also boosts immunity.
It can be great when taken with tulsi, adding together to form a wonderful tea.
Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha is very potent herb to pacify Vata Dosha which prevails during monsoon. Taking ashwagandha every night with lukewarm milk helps reduce anxiety, increases stamina and boosts overall immunity.
Triphala
Triphala, as name suggests it is combination of 3 such ingredients like alma, haritaki and bibhitaki. It is a great source of Vitamin C and as said earlier monsoon slows down the digestion, thus taking triphala before meal helps increase digestion.
