The patient came with recurrent infection with the upper right back region of the jaw.

On CBCT it was observed that the palatal root of the first premolar was fractured.

The fractured root was extracted by performing transalveolar surgery.

🔔 Surgical extraction of impacted maxillary canine 🔔

A 25 year old male patient walked into our clinic with a chief complain of crowded and mal-aligned teeth.

On radiographical examination it was found that the patient had an impacted right maxillary canine.

Patient wanted to get orthodontic treatment done, which needed the impacted tooth to be removed.

All pre operative investigations were done and the surgery was proceeded.

The surgery was done well and the patient has been in regular follow-ups.

⭕️FRENECTOMY⭕️

A lingual frenectomy is removal of a band of tissue connecting the underside of the tongue with the floor of the mouth.

It is performed in cases of “ANKYLOGLOSSIA”

ANKYLOGLOSSIA also known as tongue-tie restricts the tongue’s range of motion affecting the child’s speech and mastication.

The procedure involves removal of this thick band of tissue thus increasing the movement of the tongue.
