The Bowen Technique, also called Bowtech, is a dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy, that was developed by the late Tom Bowen in Geelong, Australia.
The technique uses gentle, rolling movements on the belly of muscles, small inputs, to set the body to do its own rectification and healing.
It can provide relief for many types of injuries and health problems, anxiety and sleep related issues that are so prevalent at this time, and is appropriate for people of all ages, in all degrees of health. Bowen is instrumental in helping people with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma both physically and holistically.
The Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia, under the directorship of Ossie and Elaine Rentsch, is practised in over 30 countries since its inception and almost 60,000 practitioners have been trained all over the world.
