Persistent ankle pain, instability, or stiffness can affect your daily movement.Often caused by ligament tears, impingement, or cartilage damage, these issues can limit your mobility.

Arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery is a minimally invasive procedure that lets orthopaedic specialists diagnose and treat ankle problems with precision, using tiny incisions and a small camera.

It’s especially effective for:
– Ligament injuries
– Ankle impingement
– Chronic instability
– Early cartilage wear

Benefits include:
– Less post-operative pain
– Quicker recovery
– Lower risk of infection
– Minimal scarring

If ankle pain keeps returning or limiting your mobility, it may be time to explore a more advanced, less invasive solution.

Consult your orthopaedic surgeon to see if keyhole surgery is right for you.

Flatfoot (fallen arches) may seem minor, but over time it can affect your posture, gait, and joint health.
Here are 5 signs to watch for:
– Low or no visible arch when standing
– Pain in the inner ankle or heel
– Feet that tire easily after walking
– Uneven wear on the soles of your shoes
– Difficulty standing on your tiptoes ⬆
If left unaddressed, flatfoot can lead to knee, hip, and lower back issues.
The good news? Early assessment makes management simple—through lifestyle changes, orthotics, or physiotherapy.
Notice any of these signs? Don’t wait—get your foundation checked today!

Knee Pain Relief. Without Surgery

Not all knee pain leads to the operating room. With advanced treatments like Arthrosamid, a single gel injection can reduce pain, improve movement, and offer relief that lasts for years.

No hospital stay. No stitches. Just science working with your body.

If you're not ready for surgery, but tired of the pain, there are smarter options available.

Hammer toe is more than just a visible deformity of the toe, it’s often a result of multiple underlying factors working over time.

It may begin with something as simple as wearing tight or narrow footwear but can also be linked to structural issues like a long second toe, muscle imbalance, or the presence of a bunion. In many cases, genetics, arthritis, or neurological conditions can also contribute to the problem.

Left untreated, hammer toe can cause persistent discomfort, limit your choice of footwear, and affect your overall posture and balance.

The good news? Early diagnosis and proper treatment can prevent further progression and help restore foot function.

If you’ve noticed changes in the shape or movement of your toes, don’t ignore it. Seek expert evaluation and take the first step towards long-term relief.

The first few weeks after hip replacement are key to healing well.

Week 1–2: Use a walker or crutches. Avoid twisting or bending. Keep the incision clean.

Week 3–4: Start gentle physiotherapy. Gradually increase walking. Listen to your body.

Week 5–6: Reduce walking aids (if advised). Resume simple activities. Avoid high-impact movement.

Follow up with your surgeon, stick to your plan, and report any unusual pain or swelling.

Recovery takes time, but with the right care, freedom of movement is just ahead.

I had the honour of speaking at the International Fracture in Children Symposium (IFICS), held at the Hyatt Regency, Pune. The event brought together renowned paediatric orthopaedic and sports surgeons from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in treating fractures, dislocations, and sports injuries in children.

It served as a valuable platform for cross-disciplinary exchange, enabling us to share insights, refine techniques, and ultimately improve outcomes for our youngest patients. I feel truly privileged to be part of such meaningful conversations. Every interaction strengthens my resolve to use my expertise to heal, to restore, and to help every young soul return to the simple joys of childhood.

Flatfoot, also known as fallen arches, is a condition where the arch of the foot collapses, causing the entire sole to touch the ground when standing.

While it may seem like a minor issue, flatfoot can have far-reaching effects on your body’s alignment. It often leads to altered posture, imbalance while walking, and increased stress on the ankles, knees, hips, and even the lower back.

Left untreated, flatfoot can lead to discomfort, fatigue, joint pain, and long-term musculoskeletal complications.

The good news? It’s manageable. With proper assessment, customised footwear, physiotherapy, and in some cases, surgical correction, your mobility and comfort can be restored.

If your feet feel tired, your arches ache, or your posture feels ‘off’, it’s time to take a closer look.
