"MIMER Medical College, Talegaon, was felicitated during the inauguration ceremony of MOACON 2025 in Nashik on 21st February 2015, by the Maharashtra Orthopaedics Association for its outstanding academic activities, including CME & workshops.

Additionally, Dr. Rajiv Munde, Assistant Professor & Arthroscopy Surgeon at MIMER Medical College, was honored for his exemplary academic, social, and cultural contributions over the past year, as well as for achieving a fellowship in Arthroscopy & Shoulder Knee Surgery in the UK."

As we always try to be active in promoting academics & quality education,
On occasion of Maharashtra orthopaedic day (MOA week), we successfully conducted BMD camp and awareness talk(by Dr Rajiv Munde ) on osteoarthritis and osteoporosis at department of orthopedics, MIMER medical College,Pune .

Department of Orthopedics is observing the day, today, by conducting an arthritis & osteoporosis screening camp.
FREE Bone Mineral Density tests are being done to detect osteopenia/osteoporosis.

𝗗𝗿 𝗞𝗮𝘃𝘆𝗮 𝗜𝘆𝗲𝗿 (JR-3) made an impressive presentation at the 45th 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆 of the hand (ISSHCON 2022) held at Jaipur, between 6th to 8th October 2022.

She presented a scientific paper on the functional outcome of 12 cases of dry arthroscopic assisted fixation of distal radius fractures... a topic that has potential to revolutionize the treatment of fractures of distal end of radius.
Though being the youngest presenter amongst all the stalwarts in the field of hand surgery, the paper was appreciated by the senior surgeons all over the country.

𝗗𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗲 (JR-3) won 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐄 in the 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 at the state level PG Conference held at Goa, during the 38th Annual Conference of Maharashtra Orthopedic Association (MOACON) at Goa.

He presented a research paper on the study done in orthopedics department, linking the use of corticosteroids in COVID-19 to AVN of hip joint, which was selected by the board of expert jury as the Best Paper among all in the conference.
