If your period starts early every month,
this might be why conception isn’t happening.
The luteal phase is critical for natural fertility.
After ovulation, progesterone rises
and prepares the uterus for implantation.
Ideally, this phase should last 12–14 days.
But if it’s shorter than 10 days, you may notice:
• Spotting before periods
• Strong PMS
• Sudden mood crashes
• Early periods every cycle
This can signal low progesterone support.
And without strong progesterone,
even a healthy egg may struggle to implant.
What weakens the luteal phase?
• High stress
• Insulin instability
• Thyroid dysfunction
• Chronic inflammation
• Poor sleep timing
So instead of asking,
“Did I ovulate?”
Ask the better question:
“Was my luteal phase strong enough?”
Because fertility isn’t just about starting pregnancy —
it’s about sustaining it.
