* Go to bed at or before 10 pm. The hours of sleep before midnight are rejuvenating
* Go to bed at regular time each night
* Take a few minutes before you sleep to bring attention to your breath

* Drink a glass of warm milk with a pinch of cardamom and nutmeg before going to bed
* Create a clean and pleasant bedroom environment.

Include all Six Tastes in Every Meal.
In Ayurveda, taste plays a big role in food selection, because different tastes affect different doshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

The six tastes are: sweet; sour; salty; bitter; astringent; and pungent.
Example
Sweet: Honey
Sour: Lemon
Salty: Rock salt, regular salt
Bitter: Leafy greens
Astringent: Most of beans
Pungent : Garlic ,Onion, Chilli, Pepper

Each one has a different effect on the doshas.

From the perspective of Ayurveda, a healthy meal includes ALL SIX TASTES, thereby harmonizing the doshas.
