Single Central Incisor implant
This young man reported to our clinic with a mobile upper front tooth. He had undergone root canal treatment for the tooth in the past. Xray revealed a fracture line extending onto the root surface. It was decided to extract the tooth and replace it with an implant. Socket shield technique was used during implant placement. ( Credits .kunaladvani) The implant site was contoured with a temporary prosthesis. The patient did not wish to undergo any correctional procedures for his gum levels. So it was kept as it is and a final implant screw retained zirconia prosthesis was given. His adjacent tooth was also recountoured with a composite restoration
