In this second wave of covid all age groups are affected. The whole atmosphere have turned into a terror.Don’t ignore your oral hygiene.Lots of covid cases have reported with palatal fungal infection,facial swellings and redness over oral mucosa.
Don’t be afraid of visiting a dentist. We are working for you with utmost care & necessary precautions.Our clinic is open and following all recent guidelines given by MOHFW &DCI.
We take case history in detail first before giving the appointments. Primary care dental triage (pre-check)is followed. For emergency dental care appointments are scheduled. We recommend all our patient to wear N95 mask. Before entering & leaving the clinic hand sanitizer is given to patient. Temperature and oxygen saturation is recorded before entry.
Inside operatory we have continuous air exchange, good ventilation. Mouth is prepared before check up with 2% povidon iodine.All procedures are done under high vaccum suction to minimize aerosols.
Appointment spacing is strictly followed.After procedure UV sterilization is done for 20 minutes with high intensity UV ray tower.Overnight fumigation is done with clorine dioxide.We also use fumigation spray gun with mixture of hydrogen peroxide-silver nitrate to nullify aerosols particles(ion binding technique).
Floor is cleaned with sodium hypochloride frequently.
So friends don’t be afraid of carrying out dental treatment,wear N95 mask,maintain social distancing,sanitize your hands properly,avoid crowding.Stay safe.
