The brainchild of two pioneering doctors, Dr Sanjay Agarwal, and Dr Guillermo Umpierrez, IDEC is dedicated to the cause of research in medicine, particularly diabetes research. Conceived in 2017 as a single event under the aegis of the ADHERE Foundation, India and the Emory Diabetes Education Training Academy, USA, IDEC today has evolved into a credible knowledge-sharing platform for medical practitioners from around the world. We strive to make pioneering research accessible to doctors from all walks of life and empower them to offer excellent clinical care. We seek to inspire doctors from all walks of life, and from around the world, in our endeavours of taking research from ‘bench to bedside’
