Free Sanitary Pad Distribution & Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program
Place: Cambridge Group of Institutions, Pune
Organized by: Naree Foundation (Charity organization of Naree Care Services)
Initiative: “Empowering Women & Girls with Access to Essential Menstrual Hygiene”
We are proud to share the success of our recent Free Sanitary Pad Distribution and Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program, held at the esteemed Cambridge Group of Institutions, Pune, and organized by Naree Care Services under our ongoing initiative — “Empowering Women & Girls with Access to Essential Menstrual Hygiene.”
This impactful event aimed to tackle period poverty, spread menstrual health education, and empower girls with knowledge, confidence, and access to basic menstrual hygiene products.
Event Highlights:
Free distribution of high-quality sanitary pads, Pad dispenser and Pad waste bins.
Educational sessions on menstrual hygiene, body awareness, and self-care.
Open discussions to challenge myths, remove stigma, and encourage period-positive conversations.
Expert talks by trained health educators, volunteers, and social workers.
Informative materials distributed for continued learning and awareness
This program not only helped many young girls understand the importance of menstrual hygiene but also encouraged open dialogue about menstruation—still a taboo topic in many communities.
