Listening is *Hearing with understanding*.
It involves an active process... while receiving.

And once we receive...we process it again...

So *what am I receiving*?
-What type of News, in today's world?
-Openion of others about me ?
-What type of hammering is created by media on us ?
Etc

And *more importantly how I'm processing* the received inputs....?

Because
*we cannot stop, we cannot control the environmental scenarios* (inputs)...
*But we can control/ change our attitude towards it*.

So
*Be Aware what we are receiving*
&
*Be Aware - how we process it...*
( Because it will ultimately turn, into our Reality)
