Remembering Mrs. Jayanti Marathe

We mourn the sad demise of Mrs. Jayanti Marathe, partner at Homoeo Laboratories on Thursday, 18th December 2025.
A visionary in her own right, Mrs. Marathe, along with her sister Mrs. Shobha Vaidya, took forward the legacy of Homeo Laboratories in the 1970s, contributing immensely to its growth.

Over the past three to four generations, the institution’s trusted homeopathic medicines like Den Tonic, A-Pills and many others have been serving countless families, promoting health and wellness across communities.
We honour her dedication, passion and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.

Our Story

Establishment

The Company was founded in the Early 1950’s by Late Dr. Sadashiv Pendse and Late Smt. Malti Sadashiv Pendse and started regular operations by about 1954 when the Brand Den Tonic was first introduced. Mrs. Jayanti Marathe (Edu. B.A) and Mrs. Shobha Vaidya (B.Sc. LLB), daughters of Dr. Pendse took over the charge of the laboratory in early 70’s. In the beginning they were producing remedies in biochemical and homeopathy. In late 70’s they gave preference to homoepathy products and closed biochemical sector. In 2010, Mr. Madhav Vaidya (M.Pharma, MBA) son of Shobha Vaidya and Mrs. Mrudula Khadilkar (B.Sc Home Science) daughter of Jayanti Marathe joined the organization. The company has grown multifold stretching into many states and has developed a niche by concentrating on Pills Based drug delivery which is easy to administer, carry and store. What was once a 100 sq.ft. factory has now grown into a GMP compliant layout.
