Is it really an emergency ?
Ignorance always lands up into crisis..
And exactly that is what happens with patients.
Ignorance of
1) Dental pain,wisdom tooth, loss of molars, unilateral chewing habits, etc.
2) Skin issues like psoarisis, seborrheic dermatitis, use of buds causing boils trauma,etc
3)Referred pain from Sinus infection, tonsils, oral ulcer,etc
4)Middle ear inflammation like non suppurative otitis media, suppurative otitis media,Myringitis..

What is right approach..?
Nothing less than getting the right diagnosis..

Whom to show?
Always an expert ENT specialist..

Why not General Physician?
Want an exact diagnosis and appropriate treatment then head towards a specialist.

Won't I be relieved by a General Physician?
Yes, pain relief may be obtained but not always and chances of recurrence are high.
Secondly,I would like you to answer would you want your condition to worsen?
Is there permanent solution?
With exact diagnosis comes exact treatment and right precaution to avoid recurrence.
Then it's up to you to prevent.
Doctors guide Patients respond..
It's your response to treatment that's 50%role to play.
So, what I have to say?
Well show an ENT specialist and get right diagnosis and treatment and prevention..

Today's Foreign body..
A double tape in nostril of a 5yrs child..
Had shown to General Practitioner one month back.. He tried to remove and said its gone..
Now after 1month child had nasal discharge.. Again given antibiotic cream but discharge recurring after antibiotic cream stopped..
In opd suspected tape still there.. Tried to remove in opd ..but child too small and instrument just slipped..
So under a small period anaesthesia removed this tape patient will be back home in 3hrs..
