It's Kitty O'Neil's 77th Birthday today! Never heard of her? No problem. Today's Google Doodle celebrates American stunt woman and racer Kitty O'Neil, who was deaf since childhood. A racing-record breaker, she was known as 'the fastest woman in the world'.

Didn't we say a disability is a different ability? 💪😊

We regularly conduct book and toy exhibitions/ spot sales at our clinic so that our parent community can purchase useful therapy items that aid the process of speech and language development.

We had another one of these exhibitions yesterday. Here are a few of the items that were on display for sale this time. These items can be purchased offline during the exhibition, which is managed by our long-term vendor (associated with us for over 20 years now). Come visit to get hands on with the latest learning aids on offer!

It is often not realized that many everyday products originated as inventions to aid people with disabilities. Alexander Graham Bell was interested in the design of hearing aids when he developed the telephone. The cassette tape was originally intended as a format suitable for blind people. The ballpoint pen was designed for people who lacked the dexterity to use a fountain pen.

Respect, understand, love and accept folks with special needs. Create an inclusive society where everyone can live equally 💙
