Junk food isn’t just empty calories, it’s mostly ultra-processed, highly engineered, and low in nutrients.

Studies reveal that men (18-40 yo) who ate a high amount of Ultra-processed foods (~25–30% of their total daily energy intake) had lower s***m concentration (1.42 million fewer s***m per ml) and lower total motility by 8%.

Moreover, every 10% increase in daily calories coming from ultra-processed foods (UPFs), s***m count dropped by about 1.5 million.

Another recent trial revealed that the UPF consumption also decreases the levels of testosterone & Follicle stimulating hormone which are essential for a healthy reproductive system.

Its because UPFs often come with additives and packaging chemicals, they may also expose the body to substances that can interfere with hormones

Furthermore, UPFs are typically high in calories, simple sugars, trans fats, and sodium, while being low in fiber and antioxidant-rich nutrients making them far less nutritious and more harmful than unprocessed foods.

These findings highlight the importance of prioritizing minimally processed, nutrient-dense foods to strengthen male reproductive health.

This isn’t just about losing 8 kg or dropping from 35.6% to 21.7% body fat, it’s about regaining control, rebuilding confidence, and rewriting your story.

For years, Bhairavi was running on empty. Losing her parents early and working in a high-stress, toxic job left her physically and mentally drained. Sleep-deprived, isolated, and overwhelmed, she found herself stuck in a loop of exhaustion and frustration.

People with high muscle strength had a 44% lower risk of developing diabetes according to a study of 141,848 adults.

There was a statistically significant interaction between muscle strength and genetic risk (p = 0.010, p= 0.046), meaning the two factors influence each other.

Even at high genetic risk, people with high muscle strength showed a lower 8-year absolute risk of diabetes (2.47%), compared with those with medium genetic risk + low muscle strength (4.00%).

When muscle mass and muscle strength decline, the body has less surface area available for glucose to be taken up into muscle cells. This can make insulin resistance worse.

On the other hand, muscle-strengthening activities, which are a major factor in building muscle strength, have been shown to improve how the body responds to insulin.

They do this by reducing insulin resistance in skeletal muscle & by increasing both the number of mitochondria in muscle cells and the amount of GLUT4 (a key glucose-transport protein).

Thus, When your muscles stay strong, they take up more sugar and respond better to insulin, reducing your diabetes risk.
