Tiny Hands, Big Milestones at Saksham Activity Club! 🌟
Day 1 was all about precision, patience, and some very practical magic. Our learners at Saksham Activity Club dived into a series of activities designed to bridge the gap between play and essential life skills.
🧤 Building Strength & Precision
The first half of our session focused on targeted fine motor skills. These exercises are the building blocks for independence, focusing on:
Wrist Agility & Coordination: Mastering eye-hand movements.
Hand Strength: Improving finger, palm, and overall hand pressure.
Bilateral Integration: Learning to use both sides of the body in harmony.
🧺 Practical Life Skills
After the break, the club transformed into a hub of real-world learning! It was incredible to see the concentration as the children tackled:
Daily Tasks: Folding clothes, locking/unlocking, and mastering clothes pins.
Kitchen Skills: Peeling bananas and boiled potatoes, and even squeezing lemons to make a delicious Sharbat together! 🍋
Focus: Tying knots to our colorful jellyfish 🪼.
We finished our day at Saksham Activity Club with the calming practice of Omkar, leaving everyone centered, mindful, and proud of their hard work. 🧘🏻♀️
