One of the biggest fears patients have after a cancer diagnosis isn’t just the disease — it’s the cost of treatment.

In this eye-opening reel, Dr. Reshma Puranik, Consultant Medical Oncologist at M | O | C Cancer Care & Research Centre (Baner & Swargate), explains how chemotherapy today has become far more cost-effective and accessible than many people assume.

With the availability of generics, improved treatment protocols, better supportive care, and structured treatment planning, modern chemotherapy is not only more tolerable — it is also more financially manageable.

Delaying treatment because of financial fear can be dangerous. The right guidance can help patients explore options and start treatment on time.

Cancer care has evolved in effectiveness, safety, and affordability.

Because timely treatment should never be postponed due to misconceptions.

Breast lump. Panic. Google. Fear.

But not every breast lump is cancer.

In this informative reel, Dr. Reshma Puranik, Consultant Medical Oncologist at M | O | C Cancer Care & Research Centre (Baner & Swargate), explains fibroadenoma , one of the most common benign breast lumps, especially in young women.

What is a fibroadenoma?
Who typically gets it?
Does it need surgery?
Can it turn into cancer?

With clarity and reassurance, Dr. Reshma helps you understand when to monitor, when to investigate, and when to relax while emphasizing that every new lump should still be evaluated by a doctor.

Because awareness reduces fear and informed action protects health.

A painless lump is nothing to worry about."
That’s one of the most dangerous myths women believe.

In this important message, Dr. Reshma Puranik, Consultant Medical Oncologist at M | O | C Cancer Care & Research Centre (Baner & Swargate), explains why painless breast lumps should never be ignored. Contrary to popular belief, early breast cancers are often not painful and waiting for pain can delay diagnosis. Many women dismiss a lump because it doesn’t hurt. Some wait. Some hope it will disappear. But early reporting can make all the difference.

If you feel something unusual even without pain get it checked. Because when it comes to breast health, silence and delay can cost more than discomfort ever will.

We are proudly announcing a unique intiative- Conference on Onco-Fertility and Sexual Health- scheduled on 28th Feb and 1st March 2026, at S. P. Jain Auditorium, Mumbai.

This initiative seeks to highlight the under-recognised domains of sexual health and fertility preservation in patients with urological malignancies. Despite improving oncological outcomes, treatment planning often inadequately addresses the long-term impact on sexual function, reproductive potential, and quality of life. Many of these issues lie within a clinical grey zone, with limited representation in existing guidelines and a lack of robust evidence to guide practice. Through multidisciplinary engagement, this forum aims to stimulate discussion,
identify evidence gaps & foster consensus-driven, patient-tailored management approaches.

We appeal all the Urologists, Uro-Oncologists, Andrologists, Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists and Nephrologists to attend this conference for latest updates around Onco-Fertility and Sexual Health.

MMC Points are available.
