Patient: 9-year-old Female
Chief Concern: Patient presented with noticeable hesitation to smile, often concealing her teeth due to self-consciousness about dental alignment.

Initial Assessment:
Clinical and radiographic evaluation revealed mild to moderate anterior crowding.The emotional impact of her dental appearance was clearly affecting her self-esteem at a formative age.

Treatment Plan:
Given her age and the psychosocial factors involved, Invisalign First was selected as the ideal option—offering both effective orthodontic correction and the aesthetic discretion essential to supporting her emotional comfort during treatment. A 6-month treatment protocol was designed with aligners coupled with routine check-ins to monitor progress and compliance.

Treatment Outcome (6 Months Later):
Patient demonstrated excellent compliance, supported by strong parental involvement and a motivated attitude once early improvements became visible. Alignment improved significantly within the first few months, and by the end of treatment, all primary concerns were resolved.😊

Impacted canine is a permanent canine tooth that fails to erupt into dental arch at expected time.
Patient is 11 years old, due to lack of space, canine was not erupted into its position.

We created spaces- in few months, it came closer to its normal site- then it is surgically exposed and orthodontic forces are applied for eruption.🦷
We exposed a small area just to bond attachment, not beyond CEJ - to achieve healthy gums after eruption.

But such situations in kids can be avoided:😵‍💫
- by regular orthodontic follow ups after the age 7.
- Taking first OPG (full mouth x ray) at age 7.
- Preventive orthodontics is always better for kids.
