We are excited to share the conceptual vision for the Front ANNEX Extension at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai โ€” a strategic addition designed to enhance functionality, patient movement, and overall hospital efficiency.

The proposed structure is planned above the existing entrance lobby, engineered in MS fabrication to ensure lightness, speed of construction, and minimal disruption to ongoing hospital operations. This extension will accommodate a well-planned stack of essential spaces that seamlessly integrate with existing services.

Our managing director, .desai.737 had the opportunity to be a guest and officiate the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Edifice Medical Technologies, at the Medicall Exhibition Event, held at the Nesco Centre in Mumbai.

The exhibition offered a comprehensive view and understanding of OTโ€™s including advanced OT tables, OT lighting, and auxiliary controls designed to enhance surgical efficiency. These innovations are truly revolutionising surgery and the broader healthcare landscape. Specifically, the theatre lights provide a shadowless and uniformly illuminated environment, significantly easing the surgeon's burden by enhancing precision and control, complemented by the manipulability of the OT table itself. Furthermore, the Edifice Team has launched cutting-edge technology in the form of robotic-assisted articulating instruments.

Last Saturday i.e. on 29th November, 2025, HOSMAC organised a webinar on โ€˜Fireproofing Hospitalsโ€™, where we presented the research around the problem magnitude and identified causes of which electrical short circuit came out as the major cause for fire. This also originates mostly in areas where electrical load is high like the critical care units, labs, kitchen etc. We then did a deep dive into various aspects of fire safety and standards , also showcasing solutions. Training and periodic audits of infrastructure readiness to fight fire came across as important factors apart from taking care to follow standards and norms in designing and material selection.

The session concluded with a Q&A session, in which our audience took a keen interest and raised thought-provoking questions.
HOSMAC aims to be at the forefront of such meaningful industry knowledge exchanges via summits, webinars, architecture competitions, and participation in industry-relevant conferences and exhibitions.
Behind these interactions is an idea to disseminate quality discussions and enhance the existing work & intellectual standards with respect to industry growth.

desai.737 , founder of HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd. โ€“ is a medical graduate with a post-graduation in hospital management and business management.
His major areas of interest are strategic business planning, macro level project co-ordination and incubating new business ideas. He has been special invitee on major industry bodies like Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), and the Indian Merchant Chambers (IMC), among others. He has also worked as an advisor to the World Bank, USAID, Indian Ministry of Health etc.

Er Satish Kamble is a M-Tech Mechanical engineer with an experience of 25 years + in MEP Design and built industry. Aside he lead REVIT MEP design in BIM (Building Information Modelling) for better co-ordination and standards in 3D design. He is an active member of ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers). He is credited with starting the MEP design cell at HOSMAC and has been successful to win client confidence in the span of 8+ years. He believes in Energy Efficient engineering and ensures green features in hospital building irrespective of certification.
