A joyful Vocational Bible School was held for the children of our hospital staff. Doctors, nurses, support staff, and other employees came together to make it a truly memorable event.

The kids took part in singing, dancing, skits, drawing competitions, and learned about tree plantation and moral values in a fun and engaging way.

"অজ্ঞতা হল আঁধার, আর জ্ঞান তার আলো"
আজ জাতীয় কুষ্ঠ রোগ দিবস (National Leprosy Day, ৩০.০১.২৫) উপলক্ষে আমরা OPD-তে একটি বিশেষ সচেতনতা কর্মসূচি পালন করলাম। কুষ্ঠ রোগ শুধুই একটি চিকিৎসাযোগ্য সংক্রমণ, কিন্তু সমাজের অজ্ঞতা ও ভ্রান্ত ধারণার কারণে বহু মানুষ এখনো বৈষম্যের শিকার। এই কর্মসূচির মাধ্যমে আমরা সেই ভুল ধারণাগুলো ভাঙার এবং গ্রহণযোগ্যতার বার্তা ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করেছি।

জ্ঞান ও উপলব্ধির কথা বললেন:

ডাঃ অলোমনি (মেডিকেল অফিসার) করুণা ও ভালোবাসার প্রতীক হয়ে প্রার্থনার মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা করলেন, যেন আমাদের সকল প্রচেষ্টা মানবতার কল্যাণে উৎসর্গিত হয়।

ডাঃ শুভ (মেডিকেল অফিসার) ইতিহাসের দরজা খুলে আমাদের দেখালেন কুষ্ঠ রোগের প্রকৃত কারণ, এর সংক্রমণ প্রক্রিয়া ও চিকিৎসার অগ্রগতি, একইসঙ্গে কুসংস্কারের দেয়াল ভাঙার আহ্বান জানালেন।

মিঃ রঞ্জন রায় (পরামর্শক) বোঝালেন, কুষ্ঠ রোগ শনাক্ত করার প্রথম ধাপ হলো এর প্রাথমিক লক্ষণ চিনতে শেখা—ত্বকের বিবর্ণতা, অনুভূতির অভাব, এবং ধীরে ধীরে স্নায়ুর ক্ষতি। সময়মতো চিকিৎসা হলে এই রোগ পুরোপুরি নিরাময়যোগ্য।

মিঃ ভবানন্দ মাহাতো (ফিজিওথেরাপি বিভাগ) আলোচনা করলেন কুষ্ঠজনিত বিকৃতি, প্রতিক্রিয়া এবং পুনর্বাসনের গুরুত্ব নিয়ে। তিনি ব্যাখ্যা করলেন, কীভাবে ফিজিওথেরাপি ও পুনর্গঠনমূলক সার্জারি (RCS) রোগীদের স্বাভাবিক জীবনে ফিরিয়ে আনতে সহায়তা করে।

সিস্টার সুজাতা কর্মকার (স্টাফ নার্স) রোগীদের জন্য আত্ম-পরিচর্যা ও পায়ের যত্নের গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরলেন। তিনি ব্যাখ্যা করলেন, কীভাবে প্রতিদিনের যত্ন ও সঠিক পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করলে কুষ্ঠ রোগীদের পায়ে ক্ষত হওয়া রোধ করা সম্ভব।

মিঃ রীতেশ চৌধুরী (ডেপুটি সুপারিনটেনডেন্ট) হৃদয়স্পর্শী প্রার্থনার মাধ্যমে এই আয়োজনের সমাপ্তি ঘোষণা করলেন, যেন এই সচেতনতা সমাজে গভীরভাবে প্রভাব ফেলে।

এই পথচলায় সকল সহযোদ্ধা, স্টাফ ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবকদের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা—তারা প্রমাণ করেছেন, পরিবর্তন শুধু চিন্তায় নয়, কাজে আসে।

"সচেতনতার আলো যত ছড়াবে, অস্পৃশ্যতার অন্ধকার ততই ম্লান হবে।"

A refreshing day in the middle of our busy schedules! Today, our hospital held a fun cricket match – RMC vs MDT. This match was more than just a game; it was a celebration of joy and togetherness.

Every ball and every shot brought energy, helping us forget the stress of our daily work. Moments like these teach us how to enjoy time together and get to know each other better.

We want to thank all the staff who worked hard to make this event a success. A big thank you to the players from both RMC and MDT teams, as well as everyone who helped behind the scenes – the organizers, support staff, and excited spectators.
