A pleasant surprise by a PRE COVID BABY at my OPD..... that's how her mom introduced the kid to me.

5years back, obese severe PCOS with 7years of married life, not affordable for IVF entered our OPD with lots of hopes and a strong determination to get pregnant

One thing she was very sure was that she doesn't want an IVF as advised elsewhere. We focussed on weight loss, hormonal corrections and gave her simple medications to induce egg growth and ovulation.

She concieved in 2nd attempt. And here she is with the first child to plan her second pregnancy after 5years

NOT ALL PCOS REQUIRE IVF

23 years of marriage, 47 year old lady, walked into my OPD with her husband, who stood like a rock to support her.
I told them about the treatment plan and counselled them for the anticipated complications during IVF and the upcoming pregnancy due to advanced age.......

After a pause, there was THIS BIG SMILE on their face beaming with CONFIDENCE and they said---- MADAM AAP SHURU TOH KIJIYE, BAAKI BHAGWAN SAB ACHHA HI KARENGE.

That's where SCIENCE MEETS FAITH TO CREATE MIRACLES.

I love my job because everyday I can see these tiny miracles happening out of--- sheer hardwork of my team, patient's faith in us and DEFINITELY GOD'S BLESSINGS❤❤❤🧿🧿🧿

I was unwell and was struggling with routine OPD patients and planned surgeries and suddenly this little boy arrives in the OPD with his parents, they travelled more than 100kms just to see me and say THANK YOU.

The mother was a case of PCOS with fallopian tube block, concieved but ended in miscarriage multiple times, this pregnancy was a roller coaster ride which we both manager to sail through, she was referred to the local gynac in her hometown for her delivery.

Such moments motivate us to work harder for our patients and redefines the Doctor --- patient relationship.

10years married, poor ovarian reserve, with low s***m count, positive in 2nd attempt.
Delivered a healthy baby girl.

Delivered a talk on - ENDOMETRIAL PREPARATION- TIME TO GO NATURAL
and participated in a Panel on UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY.
A very well organised conference .
Made few new friends, relished the authentic kolkata food, networking and the mandatory DAKSHINESHWAR TEMPLE DARSHAN.
