Large fibroid reached upto size of 5 months of pregnancy ( बच्चादानी का गोला )

Though most of fibroids are asymptomatic but symptoms of fibroid depends upon its size , location, & any degenerative changes within fibroid. Treatment depends upon many factors like age of the patients, symptoms & its severity, its location , fertility issues & patients choice.

This patient 45 yrs old had excessive heavy bleeding during periods since 1 yr…There was no response with medication (somewhere else) …instead Hb dropped upto 5 gm & 5-6 transfusion given… After basic gynaec examination & ULTRASOUND diagnosis was made & hysterectomy was done…Sometimes other factors are associated along with fibroid & we must consider all those conditions before treatment .

Conclusion : *Excessive bleeding during periods is not acceptable at any age..
*it should be investigated & treated as early as possible to avoid severe anemia & unnecessary blood transfusion…

Ectopic pregancy
भ्रूण का बच्चादानी में ना आकर किसी दूसरे जगह पर implant हो कर growth करना एक्टोपिक प्रेगनेंसी (ECTOPIC PREGNANCY)कहलाता है।
जैसे फ़ेलोपीयन ट्यूब- ( tubal pregnancy)
अण्डाशय (ovarian pregnancy)
बच्चादानी और ट्यूब के junction ( cornual pregancy)
बच्चादानी कि मुँह (cervical pregnancy)
पेट में दूसरे organ में ( abdominal pregnancy) : very very rare
या फिर पहले हुए सीज़र के जगह पर ( scar pregnancy)

अगर सही समय पर पता ना लगे और इलाज ना हो तो यह condition जानलेवा भी हो सकती है।

इसलिए गर्भवती स्त्रियों की pregnancy का पता लगते ही सारी जाँच जितने जल्दी हो सके करायें....Doctor की सलाह अनुसार समय समय पर उचित सोनोग्राफ़ी करायें।
