SHRI AROKIARAJ U OF AIIMS RAIPUR SECURES UTILITY PATENT FOR HIGHLY OXYGENATED AEROSOL CONTROLLED COMBO DEVICE (HOAC)

AIIMS Raipur is pleased to announce that Shri Arokiaraj U, a Senior Nursing Officer working in the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Department, has invented a medical device named the Highly Oxygenated Aerosol Controlled Combo Device (HOAC).
This device is expected to be highly beneficial for COVID-19 and airborne diseases.

Shri Arokiaraj registered this device in 2021 and has now received a utility patent from the Indian Patent Office. Dr. Nitin Kumar Kashyap (CTVS, HOD) provided invaluable advice and support during the development of this device.

The Executive Director and CEO of AIIMS, Lieutenant General Ashok Jindal (Retd) has praised the researcher on his achievement.
