“Have you heard the term ‘Lochia’? 🤱
It’s the natural vaginal discharge that occurs after childbirth — a mix of blood, mucus, and tissue that helps your uterus heal and return to normal size.

🩸 Lochia Rubra (Days 1–4): Bright red, heavier flow
🌷 Lochia Serosa (Days 5–10): Pinkish or brownish discharge
🌼 Lochia Alba (Up to 4–6 weeks): Yellowish-white, almost clear

It’s completely normal and a sign that your body is recovering well.
But if the bleeding becomes too heavy, has a foul smell, or lasts unusually long — consult your doctor immediately.

Our respected Dr. Sushma Purohit, Gynaecologist & Surgeon at Kamla Woman Hospital, led a free medical camp at the Battalion, Amleshwar. 🏥✨

We met so many women who were unaware of the health challenges their bodies were silently facing. Through careful check-ups, guidance, and counseling, Dr. Sushma Purohit not only treated them but also educated them — helping them understand their conditions and start their journey toward better health. 🌿

At Kamla Woman Hospital, we believe that awareness is the first step toward healing.
