On the occasion of Autism Awareness, a thoughtfully curated parent workshop was organized for children with special needs and their families. The session aimed to create a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment where both parents and children could learn, engage, and grow together.
During the workshop, I had the privilege of conducting a dedicated session for parents as well as special children, focusing on practical guidance, emotional support, and holistic development. One of the key highlights was an interactive cooking segment, where I demonstrated a nutritious, high-protein and high-fiber dish. What made this activity truly special was the enthusiastic participation of the children, making learning both fun and meaningful.
The workshop also included a calming and rejuvenating yoga session, encouraging physical well-being and mindfulness among the participants. In addition, the children showcased their talents through cultural activities such as dance, music, and singing, creating a joyful and celebratory atmosphere.
Overall, it was a comprehensive, educational, and deeply fulfilling experience—one that nourished not just the body, but also the mind and spirit of everyone involved.
