Read the label to investigate the nutrition facts & ingredients of food products before you buy. In general: stick to whole, nutrient-dense foods ๐ฏ Here are some foods & drinks that you might have considered as healthy ๐๐ผ
1. ENERGY BARS ๐๐ผ Most of them are high in sugar, saturated fat & calories. They are not a good choice if you're trying to lose weight.
2. CEREAL ๐๐ผ Many cereals are highly processed & rich in refined grains. They contain lot's of added sugars & lack fiber. 3. SPORT DRINKS ๐๐ผ These shouldn't be seen as a replacement for water. Consuming too much sugary drinks isn't healthy & will lead to weightgain. Especially when you're not physically active.
4. PREMADE SMOOTHIES ๐๐ผ high sugar, carbohydrates & calorie content. You should always choice fresh fruits. They contain more fiber & are not loaded with preservatives or extra sweeteners.
5. VEGETABLE OILS ๐๐ผ These are inflammatory foods loaded with unhealthy omega-6 fats. They're highly processed & don't contain a significant amount of nutritious vitamins or minerals.
6. VEGGIE CHIPS ๐๐ผ A serving of veggie chips isn't a healthy substitute for fresh veggies. They have a similar nutritional content to regular potato chips. Most of the veggie chips are filled with potato starch, harmful oils, sodium & sugar. ๐ฒ
