The Department of Dravyaguna organised a visit to Oxygen Park, Rajkot, on 18th December for the 2nd Professional BAMS students. The students observed various medicinal plants and their cultivation techniques, including Madhuka, Madanphala, Guggulu, Radahvat, Krishnavat, Dhra Kadamba, Dhuli Kadamba, etc. Students also meet Dr Mehul Acharya, sir and interact with him regarding the raw material of medicinal plants and discuss some basic principles.

Our 2nd Prof B.A.M.S. students spent their day at U-Fresh Milk Dairy getting a "behind -the-scenes" look at dairy science!
​From understanding the nuances of Pasteurization to seeing how Quality Control works in a high-tech Microbiology lab, it was a day filled with learning and discovery. Seeing the scale of Milk procurement and the precision of Nitrogen packing helped our students connect classroom theory with industry standards.

🌿 Free Ayurvedic Health Check-up & Treatment Camp 🌿
We are happy to share that the Ayushamruta Club of RK University Ayurvedic College and Hospital successfully organized a free health camp at Alakh Dham Ashram, Kankot! 🏥✨

In collaboration with the Shree Bajarang Mitra Mandal Trust, our dedicated team provided expert consultations and traditional Ayurvedic care to the community on December 17, 2025.

Highlights of the Camp:
👥 80+ Patients Benefited: Consultations were provided for musculoskeletal issues, skin diseases, ENT disorders, and gynecological concerns.

💊 Free Medicines: All patients received up to 7 days of Ayurvedic medicinal support.

The Department of Agadtantra & VV is thrilled to share highlights from our educational visit to the District and Sessions Court, Rajkot!

Over two intensive days (December 11th & 12th), our students were divided into groups and had the invaluable opportunity to observe live court proceedings in various courtrooms.

💡 Key Takeaways includes understanding the Medico-Legal Dynamics, the Role of the various Witnesses and practical Jurisprudence which connect the theoretical knowledge of Forensic Medicine and legal procedures directly to real-world judicial practice.

This experience is absolutely vital for our future practitioners which equipping them to handle complex medico-legal situations with confidence and ethical responsibility.

The Department of Kayachikitsa, RKU-ACH, successfully conducted a crucial Hands-On CPR Training Session aimed at boosting our students' emergency response and lifesaving skills!

The session, expertly led by Dr. Parth Devmurari from the School of Physiotherapy, provided practical demonstrations on chest compressions, rescue breathing, and early recognition of cardiac arrest, giving students invaluable hands-on experience.

A huge thank you to our Director, Dr. Manoj Pande for his constant support and encouragement for these essential skill-building activities!

RK University Ayurvedic Hospital successfully organized a free health check-up and treatment camp at Padasan Primary School on December 10, 2025!

Our dedicated team of Ayurvedic Physicians—Dr. Sreejith Satheesan, Dr. Shreekant Mundada, and Dr. Anjali Suresh—along with Pharmacist Disha Aparnathy and our Interns, provided essential services.

Patients with musculoskeletal, dermatological, anorectal, and gynecological diseases benefited immensely, receiving free treatment and a supply of Ayurvedic medicines and advised on necessary follow-up care at RK University Ayurvedic Hospital.

This initiative was organized under the guidance of our Director, Dr. Manoj Pande. Thank you to everyone who supported this effort to bring accessible healthcare to the community!

🎨 Sharirchitram 2025: Art Meets Anatomy! 🧠
The Department of Rachana Sharir successfully hosted the "Sharirchitram – Body Painting Competition 2025" on December 9th, 2025.

32 students (16 groups) participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing various parts of the human body (upper limb, neck, face, etc.) through creative and anatomically insightful artwork.

The event was judged by Dr. Sreejith and Dr. Trupti, who motivated all participants.

🌸✨ Valedictory Function of Transitional Curriculum Programme 2025 at RK University Ayurvedic College & Hospital ✨🌸

On 22/11/2025 the Valedictory Function marked the formal conclusion of the programe with a blend of cultural and academic proceedings that inspired students to begin their journey with confidence.
The event began with lamp lighting, Dhanvantari Stavan, and Saraswati Vandana.
Dr. Manoj Pande, Director, welcomed the esteemed guest Mr. Sagar Patel, Registrar, RK University, and addressed the students with words of encouragement on excellence, integrity, and lifelong learning.
Students pledged ethical conduct and devotion to Ayurvedic principles through the Charaka Oath, led by Dr. Ashwini A.
🏅Felicitation was done for our proud alumnus Dr. Akash Bhogara (Batch 2017) for his academic excellence in AIPGET.

On 22/11/2025 a sacred Dhanvantari Havan was performed to bless students embarking on their Ayurveda journey. With the chanting of mantras invoking Lord Dhanvantari, the ceremony sought divine guidance for academic success, ethical practice, and good health.

The event beautifully promoted spiritual harmony and reinforced the traditional values of Ayurveda. 💫 Students experienced deep spiritual grounding, instilling devotion and discipline as they step into this noble path.

🌿✨ “Jeevaneeya” – Ayurveda Arogya Mitra Abhiyan ✨🌿 21st November 2025

As part of the Ayurpraveshika (Transitional Curriculum) 2025, our Ist Profession junior students participated in the student outreach programme “Jeevaneeya”, envisioned by NCISM to connect rural communities with Ayurvedic concepts of health.

🚍 The team, coordinated by Dr. Ketan Bhimani and accompanied by Dr. Bhavin Dubal and Dr. Akhila G, left the campus at 8:15 am and reached Sardar village at 8:45 am. 👥 Students were divided into 10 groups, each guided by a senior mentor from the Ayush Amrit Club. 🏡 Each group visited families across the village, collecting details on physical, mental, social, cultural, and health aspects through structured Google forms. 📊 A total of 98 responses were successfully recorded, reflecting the realities of rural health and lifestyle. 🌸 The students interacted warmly with families, gaining an eye-opening experience and committing to follow up with their adopted families throughout their academic journey.

✨ The initiative not only strengthened the bond between Ayurveda and society but also instilled in students a sense of responsibility, compassion, and service as future Vaidyas.
