How long does a child need to take seizure medicines? 🤔
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer.
It depends on why the seizure happened and the age at which it started.
👉 In most cases, medicines are continued for 2–3 years.
If the child remains seizure-free and reports are normal, medicines may be reduced or stopped under medical guidance.
⚠️ Never stop seizure medicines on your own.
Always consult a Paediatric Neurologist.
