BRUCELLA case CULTURE POSITIVE
10 year school goin child,
H/O high grade fever x 25 days
Fever spikes on & off,
On various trial & error antibiotics,
Cosluming Raw milk as well as pasturised milk,
suspected by third clinican, before 2 were deniying,
IgM titre 1:125 @ 25th day,
Blood culture done @ Rajkot Microbiology centre with BactAlert 3D-120.
Found positive for brucella & it was sensitive with all relevant antibiotics.
Pt put on Doxycycln + Rifampicin...
Well being 2nd day onwards.
