Future Institute of Engineering and Management is organizing a 6-day AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 10th November to 15th November 2025. The title of the FDP is “Med-Tech Challenges and Opportunities under the 'Make in India' Framework”. This course will be of value to the faculty members of AICTE approved institutions, research scholars, PG Scholars, participants from Government, MoE/AICTE/UGC, bureaucrats/ technicians/participants from industry etc., and students of FIEM, who are interested in pursuing research in developing Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Applications, Bio-Medical Research, and Professional Ethics in Health Care and Medical Technology sector.

Life at Future...!
The Department of Hospital Management of Future Business School had the privilege of hosting an enlightening workshop on Industry Grooming today. The session was led by Mrs. Gargi Das, Deputy Manager of Patient Services, Manipal Hospital, Mukundapur.

Mrs. Das, with her vast experience and professional expertise, spoke on the essential management skills in the healthcare sector and the significance of professional grooming. She beautifully highlighted the vital role of patient services and the responsibilities of healthcare providers in ensuring compassionate and effective care delivery.

Her talk emphasized core values such as:

- Empathy towards patients and their families.
- Maintaining appropriate behavioural patterns in professional practice.
- Understanding patient needs and demands with sensitivity.
- Recognizing the critical importance of casualty and emergency care.

Through real-world illustrations, Mrs. Das instilled in the students the reminder that healthcare is a noble profession that deals directly with life and health. Thus, the attitudes, behaviour, and professional conduct of future healthcare managers must reflect care, responsibility, and integrity.
The Workshop left the students inspired and motivated to uphold the true spirit of healthcare management in their future careers.

Future Campus School Sonarpur is glad to announce that 8 students from classes 9 and 11 are visiting Maulana Azad College on the occasion of Science fair held by the college committee today ( 29.08.25). The fair will host different models and exhibits based on some important topics from Maths and Science.
Our class 11 students are presenting models on
1. Chandrayaan - India in space ( by Swapnil Pahari and Kinjal Dutta) and
2. Role of medicinal plants in our lives ( Ayushi and Arushi from class 11A).
Our class 9 students are presenting posters on the following topics
1. Digital media - merits and Demerits ( Saranya Banerjee And Nandini Halder from 9A)
2. Vedic mathematics ( Shraddha Banerjee and Sanjana Sarkar from class 9C)
They will receive certificates for the same.

successful seminar on book publication -tilted"Global Trends in Academic Book Publications: Navigating the Future in AI . The speaker was Mr. Rajesh Dey , Senior Commissioning editor from Taylor and Francis,a global recognised publishing house .The seminar focused on the book publication process, publication ethics, challenges faced by authors, and copyright regulations. Speaker ensures that attendees receive practical, real-world insights. Structuring the seminar with a balanced mix of presentations, interactive discussions with faculty members and research scholars, and Q&A sessions with them helps to foster engagement and deeper understanding. The seminar 's impact was successfully evaluated by the collection of feedback and follow-up mechanisms.

Industry Visit to PepsiCo- Varun Beverages Limited (VBL)

The Department of Business Administration, Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM), successfully organized a one-day industrial visit for the BBA 3rd Semester (Batch 2024–2028) students on 14th August 2025 at PepsiCo- Varun Beverages Limited, Sonarpur, West Bengal.

The students were warmly welcomed and guided by Mr. Rajib Panda, HR Head at PepsiCo- Varun Beverages Limited, who provided an insightful tour of the plant. During the visit, students had the opportunity to witness the entire beverage production process, gaining first-hand knowledge of both carbonated drinks such as Pepsi, 7UP, and Sting, as well as non-carbonated options like Slice and 7UP NimbuZ. They also observed the packaged drinking water production of Aquafina. An interesting aspect of this plant is that it does not produce cans, focusing instead on beverages packaged in glass and plastic bottles. Students also learned that the plant manufactures its own plastic bottles and caps, ensuring greater control over the production process.

As the visit progressed, the students observed the conveyor belts in action, the step-by-step packaging processes, and even how raw materials like mango pulp are sourced for Slice production. This immersive experience helped them connect classroom concepts of production, operations, and supply chain management with real-world practices.

The visit proved to be an enriching academic exposure, allowing students to deepen their understanding of large-scale manufacturing, quality control, and operational efficiency. FIEM extends heartfelt thanks to PepsiCo- Varun Beverages Limited and especially to Mr. Rajib Panda for facilitating this valuable learning opportunity, which will undoubtedly contribute to shaping the future managerial capabilities of our students.

The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering of Future Institute of Engineering and Management has proudly hosted an engaging Expert Talk titled "Codes and Capitals: ECE Perspectives in Banking and Data Analytics" by their Alumni today at SG Hall, FIEM. Esteemed alumni Mr. Kirit Suvra Majumder (Project Manager, Bandhan Bank) and Ms. Madhumita Pradhan (Data Engineer , IBM) shared their professional journeys and insights into the evolving intersections of ECE, banking and data analytics.
