Industrial Visit 2026 - Department of ECE, FIEM

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM), proudly organized an enriching industrial visit to Vikram Solar Limited, Falta SEZ on 27th March, 2026.

Our 3rd year students had the unique opportunity to explore the core electronics engineering behind solar photovoltaic (PV) technology — from semiconductor-grade silicon processing to advanced solar cell fabrication and module integration. The visit highlighted how fundamental ECE concepts like semiconductor physics, power electronics, embedded systems, and signal monitoring play a crucial role in renewable energy solutions.

Students witnessed:
1. Advanced PV module manufacturing and testing processes
2. Real-time monitoring and control systems used in solar plants
3. Industry practices aligned with sustainable and green technology.

Interaction with industry experts provided valuable insights into career pathways in solar technology and next-generation clean energy innovations.
Experiences like these bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications, empowering our students to become future-ready engineers and innovators in the field of sustainable electronics..

We Congratulate our 3rd Year student Ms Rima Sahu for receiving the Best Trainee Award in Marriott Hyderabad Hotel & Conversation Center. She was among the best out of 90 intern trainees . We consider this as a glorious achievement for the Department of Hospitality and Hotel Management which subsequently added another feather to our College. Ms Rima thanked her College Management including her teachers for the continuous support and cooperation.

The number π (pi) may look simple, but it represents an infinite, never-ending pattern that helps us understand circles, space, engineering, and even the structure of the universe. From ancient mathematicians to modern scientists, π continues to inspire curiosity and discovery. 🔢

Today is also the birthday of Albert Einstein, one of the greatest minds in history. His ideas about relativity transformed how we understand space, time, gravity, and the cosmos. His curiosity and imagination remind us that questioning the world is the first step toward changing it. 🌌

What a perfect coincidence that a day celebrating mathematics also celebrates the life of a scientist who reshaped physics.
