The idea of setting up the Ispat Cooperative Hospital in a rural area was first conceptualized in 2006 as a social welfare activity of the Society and the same was included in Society’s vision document titled ‘Vision 2012’ which was adopted in its 39th Annual General Meeting. The hospital shall be a secondary level Multispeciality Hospital to provide medical care of the highest quality to all segments of the rural population mainly for the downtrodden at a minimum cost. In the first phase of the project, a 51,000 sq.ft Hospital Building has been constructed to accommodate 100 beds for Indoor patients, Outpatient Departments, Emergency, 3 OTs, ICU, Diagnostic Clinic and Pharmacy.
