মলদ্বারের পাশে ফোঁড়া বা পেরিঅ্যানাল অ্যাবসেস কেবল একটি সাধারণ ব্যথা নয়, এটি একটি সংক্রমণ যা সঠিক সময়ে চিকিৎসা না করলে জটিল আকার ধারণ করতে পারে।

কেন নিজে থেকে ফাটতে দেওয়া উচিত নয়? ফোঁড়াটি যদি নিজে নিজে ফেটে যায়, তবে পরবর্তী সময়ে ফিস্টুলা (Fistula) বা নালী ঘা হওয়ার ঝুঁকি অনেক বেড়ে যায়। সেক্ষেত্রে ফিস্টুলাটি অনেক বড় এবং জটিল হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা থাকে।
ওষুধে কি নিরাময় সম্ভব?
এটি নির্ভর করে সংক্রমণের পর্যায়ের ওপর। যদি একেবারে প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে ধরা পড়ে, তবে সঠিক অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক বা ওষুধের মাধ্যমে এটি নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা সম্ভব হতে পারে। এতে রোগটি আর বাড়তে পারে না এবং ফিস্টুলা হওয়ার ভয় থাকে না।
সতর্কতা
নিজে নিজে কোনো চিকিৎসা করবেন না। এই ধরনের সমস্যা দেখা দিলে অবহেলা না করে দ্রুত একজন প্রোক্টোলজিস্ট (Proctologist) বা বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন। সঠিক সময়ে চিকিৎসা নিলে দ্রুত সুস্থ হওয়া সম্ভব।
