Loud noises, typically above 85 decibels (dB), damage the delicate hair cells in your inner ear, causing permanent sensorineural hearing loss and tinnitus. The louder the sound, the faster damage occurs; this is called Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). It is often irreversible, as these cells cannot regrow.
Immediate, high-intensity noises can cause instant damage, while long-term exposure gradually destroys the hair cells in the inner ear, which cannot regenerate.
Club and DJ setups often exceed , which can cause damage within minutes.
Rock cutting saws, including masonry saws, chainsaws, and lapidary saws, generate high-intensity noise that can cause permanent, irreversible hearing damage (Noise-Induced Hearing Loss - NIHL).
Drilling machines, particularly hammer drills and electrical iron cutters pose a significant risk of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and tinnitus due to high-intensity sound exposure.

వినికిడి యంత్రాలు (Hearing aids) వినికిడి సమస్య ఉన్నవారికి శబ్దాలను స్పష్టంగా వినబడేలా చేస్తాయి. ఇవి ప్రధానంగా:

(BTE - Behind-the-Ear): చెవి వెనుక భాగంలో ధరించేవి.
(ITE - In-the-Ear): చెవిలోపల ధరించేవి.
(RITE/RIC): చిన్న పరిమాణంలో ఉండి చెవిలోపల స్పీకర్ ఉండేవి.
