A good case treated at our hospital 12 yr old boy presented to us with c/o fever with cough from 1 month ,fast breathing from 3 days ,patient was investigated and was dignosed as a cases of rt. Sided empyema (Pus in the pleural cavity), immediately decision was taken to put icd tube with intrapleural streptokinase ,over a period of 3-4 days around 250 ml of pus was drained , Pus was sent for cytological examination which suggestive of cells 750 with 98 percent lymphocytes , CBNAAT was positive for Tuberculosis with rifampicin resistance,DOTS plus therapy was given and patient got dischaged in a stable condation.
