An elderly lady was in critical condition — she couldn’t breathe or swallow due to a very large thyroid mass. The surgery was extremely challenging, as the team had to protect vital nearby structures: the nerves responsible for her voice, the blood vessels supplying her brain, and the risk of postoperative hypocalcemia. She underwent the operation successfully, with no complications.

कैंसर के इलाज के दौरान संक्रमण रोकने के उपाय :
- हाथ बार-बार धोएं: खाने से पहले या चेहरा छूने से पहले साबुन और पानी से।
- बीमार लोगों से बचें: जो लोग बीमार हैं उनसे संपर्क सीमित करें।
- खाने की सुरक्षा: खाना अच्छी तरह पकाएं, कच्चे या अधपके खाने से बचें।
- सफाई: आसपास साफ रखें, न्यूट्रोपेनिक होने पर भीड़ से बचें।
- टीकाकरण: फ्लू, कोविड-19 वैक्सीन के बारे में डॉक्टर से पूछें।
- लक्षण बताएं: बुखार, ठंड लगना या संक्रमण के लक्षण दिखे तो तुरंत डॉक्टर को बताएं।
