What Is Acne?
Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles get clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. It affects people of all ages — not just teens!

Whiteheads (Closed Comedones)
📍Pores clogged with oil and dead skin, covered by a thin layer of skin.
🧴 Usually small and flesh-colored.
Blackheads (Open Comedones)
📍Clogged pores open to the air, turning dark due to oxidation — not dirt!
🖤 Common on the nose and T-zone.
Papules
📍Small, red, tender bumps without pus.
🔥 Sign of inflammation.
Pustules
📍Similar to papules but filled with white or yellow pus.
⚠️ Tempting to pop — but don’t!
Nodules
📍Large, painful lumps deep under the skin.
🔴 Often need professional treatment.
Cysts
📍Deep, pus-filled pimples that can scar.
