Duga HWC Staff continuously screening and follow up the individual above 30 yrs to collect data of NCD patient.We are always trying to reach in each area to give selfless service to patient for early diagnosis and treatment as well as we motivate everyone to live a healthy life style.

World TB day observed all over Sikkim on 24/3/2025.
MLHP Anusha Sharma of Duga HWC also participated in District level TB day celebration at Singtam organised by DTC,Pakyong.
On same day HWC-SHC Duga also observed TB day at Samsing ICDS centre with the theme "Yes! We Can End TB" Commit,Invest & Deliver".On this programm ANM highlight the Sign & symptoms, effect and treatement of TB.
She also encourage to general public for compulsory sputum test examination mainly ncd patient to achieve TB free sikkim by 2025 and also for
Early detection and treatment
Preventing the spread of TB
Combating stigma and discrimination
Strengthening health care system .
Screening also done for TB and NCD by ASHA , attendant and AWW.

Duga HWC always try to give quality health care service to all category people .
On dated 25/3/25 Duga HWC conducted RI and VHND at Duga HWC.On this day health care staff administered vaccine as per Immunization schedule to ANC and Child below 5 yrs.

Further Health staff also conducted some awareness program to public on following topic-
1.Sarathi samaj in which ASHA Cheuribotey given counseling on deaddiction.
2. ASHA and AWW of Zitlang Area provide information on benefit of family planning .
3.MPHW and ASHA of Duga area given counseling on food habit( eat right and food safety) to ANC and PNC mother.
4.MLHP & ANM provide vaccine to all due list child and ANC mother as per immunization schedule.
5.Staff nurse provide basic nursing care to sick person at HWC level.
6.Sr.ANM and attendant actively participeted in mobile village clinic to mobilize and NCD screening..

The main purpose of this meeting is -

1.To support community participation in healthcare management and governance.

2.To ensure access, availability, and quality of health services at AB-HWCs.

3.To facilitate health promotion activities and act as a grievance redressal platform.

4.To coordinate the use of untied funds.

Further,JAS provides support and oversight for AB-HWCs in the delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare.

We would like to give special thanks to the person who is always ready to provide selfless service to the society.
On dated 17/12/24 Social worker Shri Tilaram Dhakal and his wife Ratna Kumari Dhakal of Cheuribotey area under Duga HWC donated an Autoclave machine to our health & wellness centre. Autoclaves are important because they are a reliable method for sterilizing and decontaminating equipments and articles used in HWC.
