Pachak HWC observed world Breast feeding week which was start from 1aug to 7 August at middle pachak ICDS with the theme 'Closing the gap: Breastfeeding support for all'
And the IEC given on following points-
✅Pledge taken with AWC staff and ASHAs
✅Encouragement of breastfeeding to newly registered ANC
✅Breastfeeding within a 1 hour after a delivery of baby at NVD or caesarean section
✅Skin to skin contact of baby with mother
✅Discouraging of formula feeding
✅Exclusively Breastfeeding timi six month of age
The benefits of Breastfeeding
✅Importance of colostrum
✅Breastfeeding will also help for birth spacing
✅Vit ‘A’ solution is also given
