Suicide Prevention Day

Theme (2024 to 2026) - "Changing the narrative on Suicide"

is the most common cause of suicide ( endogenous or exogenous)

is preventable if someone in emotional crisis seek help early & get treated adequately

may be a separate entity or may exist as suicidal ideation & intent among patients suffering from psychological disorder.
It may be a or act in response to a stressful situation or underlying emotional state (crisis)

training ( given below) is a great initiative by India Government as per guidelines of WHO's mhGAP intervention in early detection & prevention of self harm/suicide.

Suicide is no more a criminal offense, now our duty to give them the opportunity to get access to Mental Health Care & support & helping them to come out from crisis.
