🧘‍♀️ 1. Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose)
Description: Sitting with soles of feet joined, knees dropped sideways.
Benefits:
Opens hips & groin
Improves blood circulation to reproductive organs

Reduces pelvic tension & menstrual cramps
Tip: Practice with slow breathing; use cushions under knees if tight.

🧘‍♀️ 2. Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose)
Description: Lying on the back, lifting hips upward with feet and shoulders grounded.
Benefits:
Stimulates pelvic & abdominal organs
Eases back pain and strengthens lower spine

Calms the brain, reduces anxiety and fatigue
Tip: Place a block or cushion under the sacrum for restorative support.

🧘‍♀️ 3. (Cobra Pose)
Description: Lying face down, lifting chest off the floor using back strength, hands pressing the floor.
Benefits:
Enhances flexibility of uterus and ovaries
Strengthens spine & relieves pelvic stagnation

Improves blood flow to lower abdomen
Tip: Don’t over-arch; use strength from the back, not just arms.

🧘‍♀️ 4. (Child’s Pose)
Description: Kneeling with forehead resting on the mat, arms extended forward or beside the body.
Benefits:
Gently relaxes lower back and pelvic area
Reduces anxiety & pain associated with menstruation
Soothes uterine contractions
Tip: Spread knees wide for deeper pelvic relaxation.

🧘‍♀️ 5. Supta_Baddha_Konasana (Reclining Bound Angle Pose)
Description: Reclining position with soles of the feet together, knees falling outward.
Benefits:

Deeply relaxes the pelvic region
Balances reproductive hormones

Excellent for calming PMS or period-related stress
Tip: Use cushions under thighs and a bolster under the back for comfort.

🧘‍♀️ 6. Parivartanasana (Supine Twist / Reclining Twist)
Description: Lying on back, knees bent and dropped to one side while opposite shoulder stays grounded.
Benefits:

Relieves bloating, cramps, and lower back tension

Stimulates digestion and abdominal detox
Calms the nervous system and supports hormonal balance
-Breathe deeply and relax the belly while holding the twist.

These poses can be practiced gently during or before the menstrual cycle. They are safe and effective when practiced mindfully.
