Leg cramps after periods? रात को पैरों में ऐंठन और जकड़न?
Sleep breaks and you just wish someone would massage your legs 😣

This is common after periods because the body is still recovering.
During menstruation, there is loss of iron, minerals, and fluids (पीरियड्स के दौरान शरीर में कमी आ जाती है).
Hormones that relax muscles stay low for a few days, making muscles more sensitive (मांसपेशी जल्दी जकड़ जाती हैं)

Hidden dehydration and low iron stores can worsen this, even when hemoglobin looks normal (Hb normal होने के बावजूद आयरन कम हो सकता है).

👉 Calcium alone is not the solution (सिर्फ कैल्शियम काफी नहीं होता).
Hydration, iron, magnesium, vitamin D, and post-period recovery matter.

If this happens every cycle or disturbs sleep, don’t ignore it.

Choose regular meals, good protein, and fibre-rich foods. This helps control insulin spikes, which directly affect periods, weight, and acne.

🚶‍♀️Move your body, don’t exhaust it
Daily walking, strength training, or yoga improves insulin sensitivity. Extreme workouts often worsen fatigue and hormonal imbalance.

😴 Protect your sleep
Poor sleep increases cortisol and worsens cravings, weight gain, and irregular cycles. Quality sleep is a hormone regulator, not a luxury.

🧘‍♀️ Reduce stress, do not ignore it
Chronic stress disrupts ovulation and cycle regularity. Simple breathing, mindfulness, or quiet time daily makes a real difference.

Some days, the clinic needs me… and some days, my baby needs me a little more.
So today, both came together 💛✨

While I was preparing and doing procedure of a patient,
my little one decided to take over the consultant’s charge 👶🩺
Sitting there like a true senior consultant, observing everything with the most serious face… and sometimes giving me that ‘Mumma, I’m watching your work!’ look.

People often forget that behind every doctor is a whole human life we juggle —
a , a , a home manager, and still a professional who has to stay calm and focused.
Some days are tough…
some days are beautiful…
and some days are exactly like this —
where my clinic and my baby blend into one perfect memory.
