🪔🕉️🙏

In India, almost every household has a custom of lighting a deepam or diya twice a day — in the morning and evening. This is a part of prayer. All ceremonies, daily worship rituals, auspicious functions, religious occasions as well as new ventures start with lightning of the lamp. Diya is essential in Hinduism because it signifies purity, goodness, good luck and power. The presence of light means the non-existence of darkness and evil forces.
There is a deeper significance to the diya. The oil in the diya symbolises the dirt in the human mind — such as greed, jealousy, hatred, lust etc — which human beings tend to nurture. The cotton in the diya is symbolic of the atma or the self or the soul. The diya presents light when the oil is burnt by the wick. Hence, lighting of the diyas signifies that one needs to get rid of the selfish and materialistic thoughts. This frees one from all forms of sadness, guiding the path to enlightenment and to connect with the Supreme Being.

Hindu philosophy or belief further states that after the realisation of Atma, one must learn to love and serve others unconditionally, without any expectations of rewards in return. Such selfless service would bring contentment, aanand or happiness in our lives. The external materialistic rewards are only illusions. Hence, as a part of purification on Diwali, one must endeavour to make one’s atma purer. Instead of trying and expecting to change the world outside, change inside.

:-
The light rays produces magnetic forces and change the atmosphere of the room and the air content in the room. The air which penetrates through the skin of the human body activate the nerves, and helps in curing the blood. The electromagnetic force that settles on the skin still works for three hours so that it penetrates in the body and encourages the blood cells. It also chases away the diseases.

Awakening our own Source connectivity is yoga. Upon awakening our inner fire, we are constantly expanding consciousness to tap into our own crisp wisdom, harmony and a stress-free environment. Each day, through our heart rituals of lighting our Lamp and stepping into mindfulness and awareness through the day, we are guided to make perfect decisions for ourselves. We bring quality to our lives with choices we make in our eating habits, in our work and recreation, in relationships and we align ourselves to evolve and grow.

A yogi is a master who is perpetually connecting the cosmic with the mundane realities and constantly expanding consciousness to attain more of consciousness. By being the Yogi, we uplift ourselves and humanity by our vibrant thinking, doings and simply Being.

In nearly all spiritual practices in cultures around the world, the Divine is represented in the lamp's fire. Meditating on this fire, eyes closed or open, enables an easier access and deeper union with the energies Divine. The yogic principle behind this is- that when a lamp is lit outside ourselves, we manifest lighting our inner lamp that guides us in our awakening journey.

--------:

When natural sunlight hits the skin it triggers the body’s production of vitamin D. Vitamin D is also known as “the sunshine vitamin.” It is a crucial ingredient for overall health; protects against inflammation, lowers high blood pressure, helps muscles, improves brain function and may even protect against cancer.

1. .

Exposing skin to sunlight may help to reduce blood pressure and thus cut the risk of heart attack and stroke, a study published suggests. Research shows that sunlight alters levels of the small messenger molecule, nitric oxide (NO) in the skin and blood, reducing blood pressure.

2. .

It is a well known fact that vitamin D stimulates the absorption of bone-strengthening calcium and phosphorus in the body. However, emerging research also indicates there is a direct correlation between bone density and vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin formed during the process of Vitamin D manufacture when sunlight hits the skin. It regulates calcium absorption. When you have higher levels of vitamin D3 in your blood, you are at a lower risk of suffering fractures of virtually all types. On the other hand, lower levels of vitamin D3 in the blood are associated with higher rate of all types of fractures. This is why sun exposure is especially important for bone health in older adults.

3.

Every morning, if your body, face and eyes are exposed to sunlight your body will increase its production of serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that regulates everything from mood to sleep. Serotonin is also a precursor to melatonin. Melatonin is needed for deep restorative sleep. So getting out in the sun in the morning ramps up production of serotonin. In turn, after 12 hours or so, this serotonin is then converted into melatonin – helping us sleep later that night.

4.

Getting some sun increases your serotonin and helps you stave off Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and can also benefit those suffering from nonseasonal depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and in pregnant women with depression, according to the Journal of Psychiatry & Neuroscience. Anxiety-related disorders and panic attacks have also been linked with changing seasons and reduced sunlight.
5. .

The itchy, scaly, raised patches of skin that characterize psoriasis can be cleared up by ultraviolet light—that’s why, in general, exposing the skin to sunlight for about thirty minutes a day is recommended for those with psoriasis. (This treatment is effective for about eighty percent of people with this skin condition, who typically notice improvement within three to six weeks of starting sunlight therapy.)

6.

It helps strengthen the immune system. “Strong association studies have found that Vitamin D is also very important in signaling the immune system. It appears to be necessary in adequate amounts to turn on your ability to survey the rest of your cells. Since regular sun exposure is one of the most robust ways to up active Vitamin-D levels in your body, it can help beef up your immune system as well. “Inadequate levels of this vitamin have been associated with an increased rate of infection, cancer, and mortality rate after surgery,”

So these are few benefits of sunlight which shows that how important is sunlight for our health.
Hope you it will help u all to improve your health without paying anything but just by understanding these facts and by giving time to yourself that's all it requires.
may all Stay healthy, stay positive, stay blessed 🙏❤️

- What does mean?

Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India. It became popular in the West in the 20th century. The word, yoga, comes from the Sanskrit yuj, which means “to yoke” and "samadhi" or "concentration." Thus, yoga is the practice that aims to join the mind, body and spirit. The ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve liberation.

Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years and, over the years, many different interpretations have developed about what yoga means. Each different type of yoga has its own emphasis and practices.
In the West, yoga is most often associated with the physical practice of asanas, particularly stretching exercises to build flexibility and relax the body. Yoga asanas can also build strength, coordination, balance and stamina. However, this is only one aspect of yoga as asana practice is just one of the "eight limbs" of yoga as listed in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, a key sacred text on the philosophy of yoga. These eight limbs are:

Yama - Five abstentions (or outer observances)
Niyama - Five inner observances
Asana - Meaning “seat” and referring to the physical posture needed for meditation
Pranayama - Controlled or suspended breath
Pratyahara - Withdrawal of the senses
Dharana - Single pointed concentration
Dhyana - Meditation
Samadhi - Liberation
There are many different paths of yoga, including Bhakti yoga, Karma yoga and Jnana yoga, but all are rooted in the yamas and niyamas, and have the same goal of samadhi.

Yoga is thought to be therapeutic for many physical and mental conditions. Studies have been carried out demonstrating its effectiveness as a treatment for back pain, stress and schizophrenia, to name a few.

MEANING OF OR

Namaskār, also known as Namastē, is an ancient form of greeting of Bharat which is practiced even today. It’s origin is billions of years old. Bhagwan and demigods also greet each other with this ancient Salutation. But its significance is more constructive for us humans. It is used in both occasions; on arrival and while leaving.

-:

The word नमस्कार ‘Namaskar’ is derived from the Sanskrit root नमः ‘namah’, which means paying obeisance (Namaskar) or salutation.

-:

It was Hinduism that bestowed knowledge to the world that a living body is made up of 5 elements: Water (Jal), Fire (Agni), Earth (Pruthvītattva/Bhumi), Air (Pavan/Marut) and Vacuum (Ākāshtattva/Sunya). Human body is considered as a microcosmo in this cosmic universe. There’s constant and enormous flow of energy within the human body.

Ākāshtattva cannot be harmed, it is endless, it cannot be destructed even when the entire Universe gets destructed to form new creation. Ākāshtattva exists pre-manifestation to post-manifestation. It is always present and most powerful of all elements. By doing the Namaskar Mudra (joining of palms), a greater level of Divine consciousness is absorbed into the body. The person is connected to Ākāshtattva. The concentration of energy increases while uttering the word “Namaskar”, and person is connected to second element that is the Absolute Earth Principle (Pruthvītattva). This is because the mudra by itself is associated with the Absolute Earth Principle. So joining hands relates to Ākāshtattva and uttering Namaskar connects to Pruthvītattva. As both of the elements of energy connects, other elements also starts connecting with the person – Water (Jal), Fire (Agni) and Air (Pavan/Marut). This result in generation of spiritual positivism in the person.

The human body is composed of immense energy. It is up to us to turn it into positive or negative energy. Shaking hands result in transfer of positive or negative energy while Namaskar only result in transfer of positive energy when done with humble human beings.

?

The gesture also called as “Anjali Mudra” or “Pranamasana” includes bowing slightly towards the other person, with the hands joined in a way that palms touch each other, thumbs close to the chest and fingers pointing upwards. It can be performed without saying the word “Namaskar” or by just saying the word and not performing it physically.

While doing Namaskar, one presses his palms against each other, this leads to the pressing of the pressure points present in our palms and fingertips. Now, we all know that massaging your pressure points have various health benefits. It helps you in anxiety, stress, insomnia, depression, and even in the Heart problems. There are some pressure points in the palms that help you even in the physical pain like, headache, neck pain, stomach pain, migraine etc. It even helps you in improving your breathing problem.

It is scientifically proven that Namaskar benefits your health and mind in various ways.

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. Scholars have found meditation difficult to define, as practices vary both between traditions and within them.

Meditation has been practiced since antiquity in numerous religious traditions, often as part of the path towards enlightenment and self realization. Some of the earliest written records of meditation (Dhyana), come from the Hindu traditions of Vedantism. Since the 19th century, Asian meditative techniques have spread to other cultures where they have also found application in non-spiritual contexts, such as business and health.

Meditation may be used with the aim of reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, and increasing peace, perception,self-concept, and well-being. Meditation is under research to define its possible health (psychological, neurological, and cardiovascular) and other effects.
Don't let the thought of meditating the "right" way add to your stress.you can practice meditation easily on your own and you can make meditation as formal or informal as you like, however it suits your lifestyle and situation. Some people build meditation into their daily routine. For example, they may start and end each day with an hour of meditation. But all you really need is a few minutes of quality time for meditation.
Don't judge your meditation skills, which may only increase your stress. Meditation takes practice.

Keep in mind, for instance, that it's common for your mind to wander during meditation, no matter how long you've been practicing meditation. If you're meditating to calm your mind and your attention wanders, slowly return to the object, sensation or movement you're focusing on.

Experiment, and you'll likely find out what types of meditation work best for you and what you enjoy doing. Adapt meditation to your needs at the moment. Remember, there's no right way or wrong way to meditate. What matters is that meditation helps you reduce your stress and feel better overall.
So meditate whenever u get time it doesn't give u only the health benefits but much more than that.
It helps to make your visions clear about life....
