SHRI JAGADGURU SANYAS ASHRAM

Rishikesh also known as Hrishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the world is located in the North of India in the snug lap of Himalayas, that offers tranquility and rejuvenation. It is regarded as one of the holiest towns of India. One of the holiest rivers the Ganges flows through Rishikesh in Himalayas.

Dreams of spiritual journey morph into reality under the shadow of the formidable foothills of the sacred Himalayas where Vedas were written. Its sumptuous silhouettes frames against the dark blue skies whisper Sermons from the seemingly near Gods.

Shri JagadguruAshram is located bang on the Ganga ghat with beautiful flaura and fauna surrounding it.

Away from the distraction and noise, yet closer to the market and other conveniences. The existence of the snow-clad mountains and the magical water of the river Ganges add to the purity of the destination.

This quiet place helps your soul get connected to the beauty and the sacredness of Himalayas and help you delve deeper into the study of Vedanta and Yoga.

Modest accommodation , that is clean and comfortable is available at the ashram. The rooms are well ventlilated and situated away from the noise , that will give the student a p perfect place to study and meditate. Almost all the rooms have ceiling fans and air conditioners. Comfortable beds, with mattresses, pillows and blankets are provided. Rooms have attached washrooms with hot /cold water running throughout the day.

Ashram kitchen is very well equipped with modern facilities and pure Sattvik Vegetarian food is cooked under the supervision of Swamiji’s mother. NO meat of any kind is allowed inside the ashram. smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited. There is no wi fi inside the ashram, however internet and broadband services are available at the cafes that are just 5 minutes walking distance away from the ashram.

There are two temples located inside the ashram. Sadhaks wake up to the beautiful sounds bells ringing at the Shiva temple with Bhgavan Shiva stuti & suprabhatam being sung by the long term temple resident Shiva Pant.

Swamiji is always present during the morning and evening puja at the temple.

Midmorning prayers are held at the shrine of Devi Poornagiri Mahalaxmi which is situated inside the temple. All the sadhaks get a chance to see and participate in all the rituals such as mangal snan, blog and arti of the deity.
