Akshi Yogshala is a certified school and is registered with Yoga Alliance, USA. Akshi Yogashala offers an unparalleled educational experience.

Our programs reflect our passion for traditional Hatha yoga and were specifically tailored to suit the needs of the contemporary yoga practitioner. Our beautiful yogashala is a music building in Rishikesh, India. Class size are limited to 20 students, creating an intimate and personal environment. Instructors are of the highest calibre, sharing generously their education and insight. Our instructors’ knowledge and experience is astounding, but what truly sets them apart is that they are people of integrity and heart. 🌄 Kunjapuri Excursion in 200 Hour YTTC at Akshi Yogashala ✨

As part of our 200-hour Teacher Training Course, we take students on a magical sunrise journey to Kunjapuri Temple 🕉️ — one of the most sacred Shakti Peeths in the Himalayas 🏔️.

🚗 The day begins early with a scenic drive 🌿 followed by a short climb up to the temple stairs.
🌅 At the top, the over the snow-capped Himalayas and the Ganga valley below create a breathtaking view you’ll never forget.

🧘‍♀️ Here we sunrise meditation, pranayama, and mantra chanting, allowing everyone to feel deeply connected with nature and the divine energy 💫.

This excursion is not just a — it’s a spiritual awakening 🌸 and one of the most memorable highlights of the training 🙏.

The Ganga Aarti is a devotional ritual dedicated to Maa Ganga (the River Ganga), performed every evening at sacred ghats like Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Varanasi.🕉️

• 🪔 Aarti means offering light (from oil lamps or diyas) to a deity as a gesture of , gratitude, and surrender.

• 🌊 The Ganga is revered as a living goddess in Hinduism, believed to purify sins, grant liberation (moksha), and sustain life.

• 🕉️ During the Aarti, priests chant , 🔔 ring bells, and ✨ wave lamps in rhythmic patterns, symbolizing the removal of darkness (ignorance) and the invocation of divine light (wisdom and blessings).

✨🌼 In essence, the Aarti is both a spiritual thanksgiving to Mother Ganga and a reminder of the eternal flow of grace. 🙏🌊🪔
