Swami Rama's Birth Centenary Celebrations - 2025
अखण्ड-मण्डलाकारम् व्याप्तम् येन चराचरम्।
तत्पदम् दर्शितम् येन तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ॥
Akhanda-mandalākāram vyāptam yena carācaram
Tat padam darśitam yena, tasmai śrī gurave namah
It is always an honour and delight for the disciples and, seekers on the path of truth to celebrate the birth centenary of luminous beings whose lives and teachings have touched and transformed countless souls leading them from the darkness of ignorance to the light of Truth.
On the special occasion of the birth centenary of our revered Gurudeva, His Holiness Swami Rama of the Himalayas; a beacon of ancient wisdom, a messenger of love our hearts overflow with joy and profound gratitude.
This sacred occasion was celebrated with Purnahuti of the 7-day akhanda mandalakaram mantra Yajna dedicated to Gurudeva, pushpanjali ( flower offering at the feet of Gurudeva), a loving message from Swami Ritavan Bharati Ji and 28 hrs Akhanda Japa (non stop remembrance) of our Sangha mantra- akhanda mandalakaram mantra. The beautiful celebration was concluded with prasada (special bhandara) offered to all.
As we celebrate and commemorate the centenary of his earthly presence in 2025, we bow in loving reverence. Gurudeva reminded us that life is both fleeting and precious, and not to waste time. He showed us the way to translate all desires of life into a desire to seek Atman, the One eternal witness, and to discover the mystery of this life.
This centenary celebration was not merely a time to look back at the blessings and grace we have received from Swami Rama in this lifetime; it was also a sacred opportunity to renew and rededicate ourselves and by supporting one another on this sacred journey.
May our lives become the living echo of Gurudeva's words- LOVE SERVE REMEMBER 🙏🙏
