Backbend Yoga Sequence For Beginners
Most lower back pain or neck stiffness is because of the bad posture of the back which are caused due to weak shoulders and hips. The practice of backbend yoga poses compress the muscles of the spine while the front body is stretched. The stretching of the chest, rib cage, abdomen, pelvis, and hips work together to help lengthen the spine, correcting the overall posture. The strength of the lower back and upper back can be improved with the strengthening of the muscles of the core, chest, ribs, abdomen, and hips.
