Boswellia serrata, or salai, is the source of Indian frankincense its gum is also known as Salai Gond/Guggulu
This well-known medicinal tree, called Shallaki in Sanskrit, is mostly used to treat osteoarthritis and muscle soreness. The main purpose of it is to ease pain.
