Rota, your voice matters!

NORC at the University of Chicago, with the endorsement of the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation, is conducting a survey to better understand the health and wellbeing of mothers and children in the CNMI. If you're a woman 18+ with a child (0–17) living at home — especially if your child has special healthcare needs — we want to hear from you!

👩‍⚕️ The in-person survey covers:
✅ General health
✅ Healthcare access
✅ Child development
✅ Chronic illness
✅ Household habits & more

📍 How does the survey work?
From October 24th to the 26th, in selected areas, households in Rota will be chosen randomly and screened for eligible participants. If eligible, households will receive a small token of appreciation for participating in the survey.
This survey will help us shape better care for CNMI families.

Remember: Only randomly selected households can join, so if you’re chosen, please consider participating for the benefit of our community!

Have questions?
Contact Richard Sablan at (670) 783-1200 or Jose Tudela at (670) 236-8711.

This October, in recognition of Safe Sleep Awareness Month, keep the ABCs of safe sleep in mind to protect your little one.

A – Your baby should sleep alone in their crib and not in your bed. No toys, pillows, or thick blankets.

B – Babies should always be placed on their backs to sleep.

C – Babies should sleep in a crib, bassinet, or play pen, in their own safe sleep space.

Simple steps = safer sleep.

For more information on safe sleep tips contact the H.O.M.E. Visiting Program at 670 664-8701/02.
