CITIZEN’S CHARTER
This charter seeks to provide a frame work which enable our users to know: What services are available in the Government District Hospital Samba, the quality of services they are entitled to, the means through which complaints regarding denial or poor quality of services will be redressed. VISION :

To continuously improve the safety and the quality of care provided to the public through the provision of health care accreditation and related services that support performance improvement in health care organizations
OPD SERVICES
OPD works on all days except Sundays and designated holidays
- Summer ( 9 AM to 1 PM)
- Winter ( 10 AM to 2 PM)
• The hospital works in three shifts besides routine work i.e. w.e.f 8 a.m to 2 p.m(Morning), 2 p.m to 8 p.m(Wait) and 8 p.m to 8 a.m(Night) the routine working of hospital is w.e.f 10 a.m to 4 p.m in winters and 9 a.m to 3 p.m in summers. For all shifts including routine roasters are made and displayed in advance, even for the general public. Routine hospital attendance of employees starts half an hour before the routine time and registers are closed 15 minutes after routine time. During routine hours the Medical Superintendent himself sees that people are in time and during odd hours Medical Superintendent or his representative takes surprise rounds and checks availability of staff. Casualty medical officer is available 24 x 7.
• Registration counters which are completely computerized and all OPD’s start functioning in time.
• Computerization of hospital – the hospital has a fully computerized system including that of OPD, IPD, Revenue Collection etc

AMBULANCE SERVICE – Four ambulances are available round the clock 24 x 7 for shifting patients
FREE SERVICES FOR –
Free OPD and investigations for Senior citizens, handicapped, BPL, Pregnant women (antenatal), Totally free deliveries(whether normal or cesarean) and other benefits under JSSK and provision of Rs 1000/ for all deliveries under JSY(mobile numbers of all available and could be verified any time)
