If you have knees, back and ankle issues, start with the chair squat. Focus on getting up quickly, squeeze your hips together on top. Lower yourself slowly to almost touch the chair, and let the knees spread away from each other. Start with one but start. Add one every week.

And for all those who can do the full squat, you know the drill, do it. Consistent & quality reps. And don’t do more than 5. We are looking at adding days and not reps.

3 easy guidelines for good health

Month 1 guidelines for the 12-week fitness project 2025

Guideline 1 - Food - have a wholesome meal between 4-6pm. Some options -
- a fresh fruit like banana
- ⁠homemade snack like mathri
- ⁠dates

Helps with -
- keeping dinner light
- reducing bloating and acidity
- no late night cravings

Guideline 2 - Exercise - do 10 squats every day

- builds strength in leg muscles and bones
- helps with pain in lower back

Guideline 3 - Sleep - end your dinner with two cashews⁠

- regulates moods and calms you down
- improves sleep quality
